My Approach

I work with people from all walks of life. Some come to therapy with a history of trauma or a mental health diagnosis, while others simply feel stuck, disconnected or unsure of who they are or where they are going. You do not need to have experienced something extreme to benefit from therapy. If you are struggling in relationships, moving through a life change, or wanting to feel more confident and connected to yourself, I am here to support you.

My approach is warm, grounded and person-centred. I work holistically using a biopsychosocialspiritual lens, which means I take into account your mind, body, relationships, behaviours, values and environment. I believe this is where meaningful mental health and wellbeing support should begin. Rather than starting with quick fixes, labels, medication or invasive treatments, I focus on everyday lifestyle, patterns and deeper self-understanding.

While I absolutely respect and support people who take medication or have a diagnosis, that is not the focus of my work. I do not treat disorders. I work with the human being in front of me. Diagnoses can help us understand what is going on, but they are never the full story.

My experience includes both clinical mental health and community-based trauma work, particularly in the areas of childhood sexual abuse, family violence and sexual assault. Through this work I have seen how trauma can shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how safe we feel in the world. These same areas are also often where healing takes place.

I am passionate about helping people build self-compassion, reconnect with their inner wisdom and move through shame or self-doubt. Whether you are navigating something painful or simply longing to feel more like yourself, I offer a safe and supportive space to reflect, heal and grow at your own pace.
